Rescue & Recovery Update

Last week on Thursday evening the Invisible Children roadies were on campus and were able to share with the student body their strategies and goals for raising awareness for the kids in Uganda this semester. They shared the video with us which talks about how they are trying to get the bill to capture Joseph Kony passed by the Obama administration. After the screening we had a meeting to discuss how our campus can help by having a book drive and collecting money for their program Schools for Schools. We talked about doing a bake sale, garage sale, even collecting change. Im excited to see what this campus is going to do this semester for the cause of these children. I know that all of us are really excited to get started and to see the impact that this is going to bring to the kids in Uganda.
